Have you tried the Sew Unique Undie Metre? What is all the fuss about? The Undie Sew Unique Metre (or SUM) is 1m of fabric with 5 panels to create the perfect knickers for your little ones bottom so they have full coverage. Each metre of fabric has 5 panels plus co-ordinating fabric for leg and waistbands. As you can see by the photos here, Amanda was able to create more than just knickers. She also managed to get a bralette pattern sewn up too.

Undie Sums are not only for undies either. Alana has sewn up a cute little zipped pouch using one of the panels. Isn’t she just super clever?

Pre-washing is not essential but recommended

Pre wash in cold water on a gentle cycle
Add a tablespooon of salt to the wash – this helps seal the colour within the fabric thus reducing fading.
Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. the liquid will freshen up your laundry and help colours maintain their intensity.
Dryer use is not recommended – as the heat will eventually cause fabrics to fade.
Line dry without delay – inside out, away from direct sunlight

Shrinkrage rate is approximately 3-5%. All fabric has been preshrunk, however additional shrinkage may occur.
